Shippo takes its name from 七宝, meaning “the seven treasures.” In Japanese, the name also refers to cloisonné, the traditional art of creating intricate compositions through colour, giving the design two connected interpretations.
Crafted in 18K yellow gold, the ring features 41 round multicolour sapphires arranged continuously around the band. Each sapphire is secured in a precise prong setting, allowing the sequence of colours to remain the defining feature of the design.
