Nenju takes its name from 念珠, the Japanese term for prayer beads, with origins connected to the Indian japamālā tradition.
Crafted entirely in 18K yellow gold, the ring is formed from a continuous sequence of gold spheres arranged around the band. With no stones, the design draws attention to repetition, proportion, and the natural lustre of the gold.
The rhythmic arrangement recalls the form of traditional prayer beads, translating an object with Indian origins into a refined contemporary ring. Simple and tactile, Nenju expresses continuity through a sequence of individual forms brought together as one.
